Our goal was to create a new and exciting sushi kitchen that delivers a truly authentic Japanese-style sushi experience with every visit. That’s why, prior to opening our doors in 2012, we flew to Tokyo to find the perfect Head Chef to personally create our menu and unique taste from scratch.
In our search, we found Chef Makoto – a top sushi chef from the busy streets of Tokyo, doing what he does best. Tokyoites can attest to his Imperial style of freshly rolled, never-stored sushi that is superbly fresh and simply delicious with every bite.
We asked Chef Makoto to join our team of friendly and committed staff to help launch a new sushi experience for Australians – developing a menu that has only one goal in mind – to provide a unique, fresh-tasting Japanese sushi experience, delivered with an authentic flavor inspired by the streets of Tokyo itself.
